Camilla d'Errico
Artist

Camilla's comics career began in 2001 when the small press company, Committed
Comics, contracted her to work on their first published book, Threads.
Following Threads, Camilla took on the role of lead penciler for the four-part
mini-series: Zevon-7, which she worked on for two years.
When Zevon-7 creator Quenton Shaw launched QEW Publishing in 2004, Camilla's
creator-owned manga series, BURN, was added to the studio's
project base and was subsequently published by Arcana Studios in May 2008.
In 2006, local Vancouver company, House of Parlance Media, discovered
Camilla and her self-published book, The Fallen. They
immediately contracted her to co-create, with established writer Joshua
Dysart, Avril Lavigne's Make5Wishes, a 2-part project
published worldwide in 2007 by Random House and Del Rey. Recently she
has been collaborating with Serena Valentino on the final 5-issues of
the mini-series, Nightmares & Fairytales, published
by Slave Labour Graphics. Tanpopo is Camilla's second self-published book,
which she came out in a limited run in 2007. Due to its success, the book
has been re-worked with new text and pages and will be available by the
summer of 2008.
Other current comic projects include work on a combined videogame and manga with Vancouver-based Day 21 Studios, as well as collaboration with American company Warfront Productions on a manga series that is expected to be made into a feature film. Camilla will soon begin working with famed comic book writer, Grant Morrison, on a new creator owned project to be published by Vertigo.
She will be debuting a new line of HelmetGirls hats by Punch Brand at the convention this year.
