The Go tables are returning to Anime North, all-con-long just like last year!

Originating in China and popularized by the recent manga/anime series Hikaru No Go, Go (Igo/Weiqi/Baduk) is actually one of the world's oldest board games - probably the oldest still played today. Drop by the go tables in to learn and enjoy the game. New and experienced players of all skill levels are welcome - stronger players are encouraged to help teach.

This year we are hoping to have even more take-home information available as in 2006, and will be again running two tournaments on Saturday and a possible third on Sunday if there is interest. Having formal timetables and planning out official lectures hasn't worked out in the past, so we've more or less given up on that idea. ^^;;
